J Alvey Pest Control helps businesses, schools, landlords and other organisations deal with current pest activity and reduce the risk of it returning. Reactive visits and planned prevention
A reactive visit addresses a specific report such as rodents, ants, fleas, cockroaches, wasps or mole activity. We review the affected area, access, site use and immediate risks before selecting an appropriate response.
Priority Prevention is for premises that need continuing oversight. Depending on the site and agreed scope, this can include scheduled inspections, monitoring, targeted treatment, practical prevention advice and records of the work carried out. The frequency and equipment are based on the premises rather than a generic contract.

What we consider on a commercial site
The pest is only one part of the instruction. We also consider food and stock, staff and public areas, operating hours, waste, deliveries, structure, neighbouring activity, locked spaces and reporting requirements. A nominated site contact who knows where the evidence has been found makes the first visit more useful.
As a BPCA member, we follow industry codes of best practice. Treatment activities are planned using relevant risk and COSHH information, with precautions explained to the site. Pest-control records can support due diligence, but they do not replace the organisation’s responsibility for hygiene, maintenance, food safety, safeguarding or other legal duties.
Pricing and quotations
Some reactive services have a published online price. For example, the current commercial rodent visit is listed at £125 per visit. Ongoing programmes, multi-site work, extensive proofing and sector-specific requirements need a tailored quotation. We define what is included before work begins and do not promise a particular audit result or food-hygiene rating.
